Please call our Irrigation Office at 301-782-3644 to schedule your appointment to winterize your irrigation system.
This process takes about 45 minutes and consists of a qualified irrigation technician coming to your residence. He will begin by turning off the water at the inside main water supply and draining it. He will then hookup a commercial grade air compressor to your system and remove all remaining water from the pipes.
It’s very important to get your system winterized before temperatures reach freezing. If there is water in the irrigation lines, the water will freeze and then expand which will damage the pipe and plumbing to the system.
We recommend winterizing anytime in October or November, and would like to have all customer’s systems winterized by Thanksgiving.
