Chuck Knaggs at the Abby-Farm location found a Bald Eagle near one of the ponds that appeared to be injured. In an effort to capture the Eagle without further injury Chuck let the Eagle dig his talons into his boot and he then removed his boot strings and tied the bird’s feet together.
He then placed the Eagle in a safe and secure place and called the Tri State Animal Control Center in Delaware. They picked up the Eagle and will treat his injury until completely recovered. Once the Eagle is ready they will release him back into the wild.
